actually the rock is a good casting choice, but I think Kahn should be left on ice.

I suggest that Nero destroyed the Botany Bay out of his ire, and that NO future Khan stories ever be done.
This is an entirely new universe. The entire universe for Trek is new. Khan never needs to be revisited. Voyager 6 was destroyed by a passing comet, so V-ger doesn't need to be retold.
Go someplace new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
