Just as I was heading off to be there was breaking news that he had been rushed to the hospital, but then this morning his death was long confirmed.
One of those morning where you turn on the news and are like - 'Am I really watching this?' It's a great shame that the music will always be overshadowed by the lon, long history of rumours, stories and allegations about him. Whether they were true or false or inbetween - his music when he was at his peak will never not be played.

I'm pretty bummed out by the news of Micheal Jackson's death. He was such an awesome musician. I have enjoyed his music since I can remember.
I always felt like he got a bad rap for being a bit too naive and childlike. I can't say whether or NOT he did the things he was accused of, but I do believe he was misunderstood and that many things he did were done out of genuine friendship. Only us "normal" adults put sexual context where there may not have been any. I was hoping MJ would put out another album and do a world tour. I wonder if he had recorded anything new and if it was near ready for release.

No autopsy results as yet but the many rumours have already begun, and will continue over the next few days.
I think the stress of this mammoth 50 date UK residency and the supposed preparations may have been a factor. I don't think he was physically healthy enough for such an undertaking after so many years not performing.

Not just rumors... now that the "hush money" he was paying to several families has dried up, you can expect the floodgates to open shortly. The tell-all books alone will fill several library shelves.
This morning, the day after his death, the "friends" and "spokespeople" are coming out of the woodwork, damning him with faint praise, like "...he was a great guy to hang out with, in the beginning..." and others who just want to grab their 15 minutes of fame in front of the national TV cameras. God, I hope I don't die famous... there's no dignity in it.

There will undoubtedly be people already planning how they can make a small fortune out of his death.
