Those look like a competent set of extras -

I look forward to the deleted scenes and commentary (although a second cast commentary would be welcome as an addition), and I'd like to know more about the featurettes.

Can they be branched into a single making of documentary or are they standalone, I wonder? How long do they run for. A featurette can be only a minute or two or 15-20mins plus.

Star Trek might be the first Blu-ray disc I buy, once I see the extras roster for the DVD edition.

Certainly that sounds like a 2 disc edition, but I wonder if there will be a 1 disc version as well.

Of course. But then the extended version of those movies were pretty significant in length and finished (mostly).

Looks good....but is there a 'making of' included? I didn't see it. At least there's quite a number of deleted scenes- and Sarek's meeting Spock Prime!!..... this waiting is going to be torture!

Maybe they don't talk at all. After all, the scene is called "Sarek sees Spock Prime" - rather than "meets Spock Prime".

Im looking forward to it. On Bluray, they could have an extended cut as a selectable option using Seamless branching, that would be cool.

You are probably correct. In a magazine interview, Ben Cross mentioned only meeting Nimoy, not working with him. Might be just him watching Spock Prime from afar- still, could be an interesting moment.
