I would use CG makeup to have the ridged foreheads but instead of the silly enlarged and domed head caused by prosthetic makeup I would try reducing the height of the Klingon foreheads to below human proportion. When you look at the nose removal of Voldemort in Harry Potter, it can be very alien looking but still stick fairly closely to the design previously used. My two cents!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! JJ, don't make the next movie a mindless rollercoaster!! Scrap the dumb engineering locations and build some damn sets!! And make them look like they belong in a starship capable of traveling faster than light. If you are going to use Klingons, stick with the damn established Klingons (makeup design) from the last season of DS9 or those from ENT. Why spend lots of money to change them? So the new fans can see the difference? Sure, higher quality is a MUST, but why scrap everything that has been established? Same for the ships. I want to be able to see a Klingon ship and say "that looks like a Klingon ship". I have been a fan for years. I LIKE the fact I know the difference between a Klingon ship, a Ferengi ship, or a Borg ship. Why must every damn movie have a totally new design? Just take an already known design and make it look great!!! Add detail, maybe even change the body lines a little, but DON'T start from scratch and pay some fool to ruin MORE Trek!

Keep it original, show us something we haven't seen before but is still true to the feeling of Star Trek. Oh and a 366 meter Enterprise! hahaha

I think the Klingon ships in the KM scenario were the TMP Klingon ships.

I may complain about things like the lack of an engineering section that actually LOOKS like engineering, or looks even a little futuristic, and of course I miss the thrumming warp core, BUT I have never complained about differences like "classic" versus modern. Those arguments are rooted in the production of the time, NOT in continuity or "canon"

Smooching, beefcake, and explosions. A little skin never hurt anything either.

there is way too much repetition in the star trek movies.

Less lens flares and shakecam.
Klingons who use battlecruisers and not warbirds. ![]()
