If Morn did say anything, it was related by other character's in the 3rd person. LOL! For example, one time Morn screamed "We're all gonna die!" (or something like that), but it was Quark who mentioned him saying that.
It´s a cheap old trick to make a character do the very opposite off-screen than on-screen but it still works.

DS9 wouldn't be the same without Morn: the bankrobber, the ladies man, the guest who never leaves and, last but not least, Quark's only friend.

After Morn's 'death', Worf mentions that Morn was one of his best sparring partners. Would've been quite a badass sight, and a nice contrast to the usual immobile barfly Morn
