Default Blu-Ray Phaser

For those of you who have seen this and for those of you who haven't

http://youtube.com/watch?v=xfj1n8vPWCE

Although I think it's funny that this video is made from the assumption that we all know what the heck he's talking about . It's like Troy McClure from the Simpson's in that video "The Half-Assed Approach to Foundation Repair."

"Hand me my patching trowel." "Do you have extruded poly-vinyl foam insulation? Good.... If you don’t have metal stucco lath, use carbon-fiber stucco lath…Assemble your aluminum J-channels! Now barge the lath!” Ah Phil Hartman...

I'm dating myself. When I was in high school, "the school laser" was locked up in the physics lab. It weighed about 10 pounds, not including the "wand" portion that was the size of a Bounty paper towel roll, and you were lucky to get a few hundred feet out of it. Now, the green one in my breast pocket can shine from my apartment on the East Side to the top of the Empire State Building. In college lab, we got our hands on a big old model and were gleefully intimidating people in the parking lot across the street. My TA couldn't understand our amusement. He said "Don't you guys get laid or anything? You probably all watch Star Trek, too."

Heck, when I was in high school there was no such thing as "the school laser" and them new-fangled electronic calculators were scarce.
