Original series fan, through and through.

My feeling with TNG is that Gene Roddenberry wanted to make a new sci-fi show, but his history of making failed pilots meant he knew he couldn't get it made. So he added a few references to Star Trek and, presto, TNG was born!

TNG and its fellow shows always felt somehow different, philosophically and dramatically. Not to diss them, but they rarely felt all that much like what I consider to be Star Trek!

im scared about this new movie but also exxcited at the same time. these original characters are legends.

TOS. You never forget your first. I liked a lot of TNG, less so after that. Given the voting and ages listed in another topic, I have a feeling this might be a generational thing in determining results (very generally speaking). The fact that different series speak differently to a broad range (in age) of fans speaks a lot about the entire concept having a lasting, appealing quality to humanity at large.
