Passively so.

I think the mods over there get off on watching Trek fans tear each other up over the movie. It really gets personal....sometimes laughably so.

I use to stop in over there and no one ever responded to my posts. I tried to go in the other day, and it wouldn't let me in. In fact, the last few times I've tried to sign in the forums, I can't get in. Has anyone else tried to?

The people are very agreeable here.
I see no reason to go further.

dito!

I´ve been here almost every day since I visited this forum first. I do not post on every visit, but I love this place. Sometimes I can find really interesting stuff here (fanart, info etc.). I don´t need another ST-forum. I visited the StarTrek.com forum, but I left it after a few minutes and I will not go there again.

The startrek.com forums are pretty good most of the time, but there are some members who are out-of-control. I was banned a few months ago on account of one particular member and I don't plan to return. Getting banned after more than two years of constructive contributions came as quite a surprise.

When I try, it says IKONBOARD CGI ERROR , then "please note that your real paths have been removed to protect your information". Anybody know what it means?

It's probably a cryptic warning to stay the hell away from a rather volatile forum.

Yeah, the mods are... less than consistent. I'll leave it at that.
