At least it wasn't Muttonchop Universe! Can you see Spock with 'burns like Lemmy from Motorhead?

Uhura was noted for having those "spit curls" like upside down question marks on her temples.

Trying to predict what hair styles are like in the 23rd century is pretty tricky. Most westerns shot these days get away from the actual styles worn by the people of the period, simply because they distract the audiance from the drama... they are too extreme, and often considered funny by today's audiances. Much the same will be the case 200 years hence. Todays styles will probably be about as out dated as the powdered wigs and elizabethan collars of old.

I think they should keep the sideburns. That was one of the defining features of TOS. I used to have them years ago, before I grew a full beard. If I ever shave my beard, I may do the Trek-burns again. When I had them, most people commented that my sideburns looked like "The Rock's". You know, Dwayne Johnson? That was a while back. The people who commented on mine didn't even think about Star Trek until I told them that's where they were from.

The thing that keeps me from cutting my beard into Asimov- like mutton chops right now is that most people would think I was doing a halfassed "Wolverine" cut...

Exactly, 100 points for Eliza!!

Lets start a petition to bring back classic Trek sideburns in the next movie! Poor Quinto will be running around with shaved eyebrows and funny sideburns.

Thank you!

Quinto will have to do far less shaving if he lets them use his natural sideburns for the POINT...
