I've never seen an MTV Movie awards show, is it like a people's choice deal, or do they have a panel of stuffed shirts? In this case, I'm guessing they'd be young celebs doing the judging.

Titanic is a great example of tragic storytelling. One of the biggest shocks in the history of the 20th century combined with THE greatest love story ever created. Romeo and Juliet. Fact and fiction coming together. There's a reason it made over 2 billion dollars in box office (adjusted for inflation). I enjoyed Titanic and i'm a man, people go to movies to loose themselves in the story. People lost themselves in the world of Titanic.

Combine that with the best special effects at the time, a beautiful score and a fantastic writer/director, James Cameron. You've got yourself one helluva motion picture.

Unfortunately Star Trek doesnt rule the MTV crowd. Not enough sap and too much thinking required.... even in this Trek.
