In truth it's probably a bigger honor NOT to be nominated by MTV.

Hey, don't blame the girls. They don't produce this junk.

Yes but their hormones obviously overtake their brains when it comes to movies. Titanic is the worst example in history.

And before anyone cries 'sexism', the inherently genetic male attraction to action over the story doesnt bode well for us either. Humans can be pretty pathetic, cant we?

No, they don't produce this junk, they just provide the powerful incentive for others to produce this junk.

But they do fall for it every time -

Handsome hunk, brooding, mysterious - does he love me, does he not?

Twilight was garbage, but when it comes to teenage crushes I bet they all related to the basic story of a girl falling for that guy at school.

- Breakthrough Performance Female (Zoe Saldana)
- Breakthrough Performance Male (Chris Pine)
- Best Villain (Eric Bana)
- Best Kiss (pick one)
- Best Action (so many, pick one)
- Best Special Effects (duh)

Quinto has never acted in a big movie before, so yes, he does qualify for Breakthrough Male.

...Unapproachable.. But you know that he is so deep and vulnerable inside, and if you could only somehow break through to him, you know he could be passionate and loving and only yours... etc. etc.

... Hey wait a moment, did we just describe the female Trek fans' 40 year-long obsession with Spock?

If you are to follow MTV rules I dont think Trek qualified this year. So... back to the drawing board for you.
