One more thing - Slusho! I need to see that Slusho is still around in the future.

Spock drinking a Slusho would be icing.

The only item on my wish list is this:

Regardless of everything else, I want you to use every last drop of talent you have when making this movie. That will mean more to me than canon or tradition or any such thing. Just do your very, very best.

More real Alien looking Aliens. Not only people with a little bit different looking foreheads.

I'd like to hear Karl Urban say: "He's dead, Jim."

Put Finnegan in the movie. That would be so great, ever since watching Shore Leave from TOS, I always wished we would be able to see this character in another installment. Depending on what time frame the movie takes place, having Finnegan involved would actually allow Trek to have a little humor in it that wasn't forced or totally lame.

Default The Mind Meld Scene

It's a widely circulated rumor that a Mind Meld will take place between Old and Young Spock to Bring young Spock "Up to Speed". This is a great place to tip the Hat the old series. If I wrote it it would go something like this

They make contact
Old Spock:My Mind to your Mind
{Cue Spocks Theme}
They break contact and as young spock "Integrated the memories" The Dialog would be

Young Spock(YS)-My Brain out of my head
Old Spock(OS)-Yes
YS-Ancient Rome
OS-Yes
YS-Nazis
OS-Yes
YS-An Ancient Earth Probe and I mind Meld with it
OS-Yes
YS-I Mind Meld with a a Lump of rock that disolves flesh on contact
OS-Yes
YS-A Giant Ameoba So I should try and Mind Meld
OS-Yes and a Definite No
YS-Dump the Fuel and Ignite it, Illuminating
OS-I See I've already learned to Pun
YS-Cross Circuit to B
OS-When all else fails
YS-Another Ancient Earth Probe and I mind Meld with it. Is there nothing I won't mind meld with
OS-Yes and Maybe
YS-Jump start a Warp Reactor by hand
OS-It seemed to be a the Logical thing to do at the time
YS-Mind Meld with a Whale
OS-Time constraints
YS-Reconcile with Father
OS-Logic dictated it
YS-Sybok
OS-His Logic Failed him
YS-Peace with the Klingons
OS-Logic Demanded it.

1. Keep the spirit of the show into the "new" franchise they're trying to build
2. Please, for the love of god, don't make it suck.

I wanna hear Karl Urban say: "He's dead, Jim..." and "Damn it, Jim! I'm a doctor, not a *insert profession here*!".

Okay, okay... I also want JJ Abrams to stay true to Star Trek without whoring himself to the old guard fans who refuse to see anything changed.
