Seems like this pirates vs ninjas thing is working out to be more like pirates with the ninjas. As you can clearly see the classic pirate Romulans are wearing ninja tabi boots in the movie.

It's quite possible he's a marketing dude for that company. It's an increasingly common trend for products of all kinds - their promotions team go online and pretend to be really enthusiastic fans of the product, in order to drum up some enthusiasm without regular old advertisements that usually get ignored by jaded audiences. Still, it's not for me to judge either way

As for the Romulan boots, I think it was a neat touch to have them wearing something non-standard, rather than just regular human clothing with a few accessories. More 'alien', that way.

It's all good. Think what you want. I'm stoked to spread the news round. It's definitely worthy. I have a pair and have been getting crazy amounts of comments in public. So i guess its kinda been on my mind a bunch. I'm sure you would be blogging about it too if you were in my shoes. hahaha no pun intended.
