I think both Spocks could probably contribute to the gene pool without having to actually become involved in a relationship, after all, being hybrids, would probably need some genetic tinkering in the first place, just to make sure of no health problems for the child.

Also, if so inclined, either could merely foster other children besides their own, I'm sure some of the children saved from Vulcan lost one or both parents.
