At least one. I can't remember the title of the ep but it was the one where two redshirts were turned into those weird foam dohecahedronal(?) thingies. One was crushed and it turned out to be the female. Really beautiful too.

Oh man....

You just reminded me of one of the funniest off-color comedy routines I ever saw back in the 1970s... I think it was Richard Pryor describing this episode and the fact that the black red shirt guy was turned into a "cube" and then one of the cubes was crushed.

Of course he used the "N word" which I will not repeat here... but the signature line was....

"The _______'s a cube, Captain !!!"

Oh well - I guess you had to be there....

This routine is on video I think - because I saw it once on HBO.

I was there. It was hilarious!
I started to mention in my post that of the two redshirts one was a black guy and one was a hot female and that it played against expectations for her to be the one to die. But I didn't want anyone to get all PC on me. But I guess I was PC by omission. And I'm a black guy!
