Edgar Rice Burroughs, "John Carter of Mars. All eleven titles. Barsoomian Babes don't waer clothes and all have HOT bodies. I'd cast Angelina Jolie as Dejah Thoris, and Tom Welland as John Carter.

Maybe "The Who Folded Himself" by David Gerrold
Or "On A Pale Horse" By Piers Anthony

POOF! Your wish has been granted! "Barsoom" is in production at PIXAR... it will be the first film from them that combines live action actors with photo realistic CGI ones. No word on the cast yet, however. Now, for my next trick, I'll need a large metropolitan city...

For fantasy, I'd go with the Riftwar saga by Feist.

Nice! Although I vaguely remember rumors about this in development some time ago. Always had a fondness for that book series.
Personally, I don't think there is a lot of "straight" fantasy that is very interesting. Most of it is so very cliche. At least the "popular" fantasy is at any rate (Shannara, Wheel of Time and that ilk). You couldn't even go back to classics like Fafhrd & Gray Mouser now without looking like some rip-off (which is ironic). Red Sonja is being made with Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez so that may be an interesting revitalization.

I'd think death driving a car and pulling out people's "souls" and using the device to determine what they want.
I liked the fact in the book(s) that no matter what you belived you got (or deserved)when you died.
