I agree. Writing the next film with the subsequent one in mind could give the team an opportunity to tell a Trek story on a scale that we've never before seen. I want them to go where no Trek has gone before! Bigger! Bolder! Better!

well i hate to say this but i think the new film will be a different story. look at the past movies and you will see that most of every new movie starts with something new. Star Trek 2,3,4 were just a trillogy based on the same story.
