Talking Hobbies? Care to share?

My favorite hobby is knife and sword making. My wife and I love to go to the Scottish Highland festivals and Medieval Fairs.
I also enjoy gardening specifically growing roses.

Very cool hobbies! Do you sell any of your swords/knives?

I like to do my own little visual FX clips with starship miniatures.

I also like to write fanfiction of Battlestar Galactica when I can find the time.

Oh,....and videogames.

My dogs and collecting and learning about historically significant weaponry. I also really enjoy good role playing games, and am considering becoming involved in historical re-enactment such as Roman or American Civil War re-enactments. History fascinates me to no end.

I collect star ships and tanks, models of course. But my collecting days are nearing the end as I have collected what I want and I am running out of space in my room to put them

Talking Knives and swords

I've just recently begun this art. And I have made probably a dozen short blades, most with antler handles. I've given some of the nicer ones to friends as gifts, and I managed to sell a few. I'm currently working on a short sword that'll be about 32 inches and have a rough weight of 7-8 pounds.

I made a bastard sword some years ago that was 46 inches long and ran 5 1/2 pounds. But this was an elementary project and I am hoping that my new works will be more artful as well as fully functional.
