Did anybody here see the obvious reference to the infamous "Picard maneuver"? This occured when young adult Spock was standing up during the scene where Kirk was standing on trial for cheating. When Spock stood up, he pulled down his coat, much like everybody in TNG did, especially Picard.
Also, the computers within the Narada looked very similar to Borg tech. |

Heh, I didn't make the connection with the Picard manoeuvre, nice.
![]() According to Countdown, the computers on the Narada are Borg tech. Along with about 99% of the whole mass of the ship. The 24th century Romulans reverse-engineered Borg debris to change the Narada from a mining ship into what is effectively a Borg-Romulan cube. Roberto Orci has brought into question whether Countdown is canon or not, but it was written by the people who brought us the film, so... |

Heh, I guess the first thing you do when playing with Borg technology is to take out the 'assimilate things' directive. :P

the narada was growing in size thanks to the borg technology, and did anybody see the ciruits on board the narada when capt. robau was invited to the ship. it looked like bio-circuits.

When you said the "Picard Manuever" I thought you were referring to that stupid warp maneuver that made it look like there were two ships from the Stargazer episode of TNG.
I'm like, I don't think that manuever was in the movie (thankfully, given how stupid I thought it was). |

I call it the "poorly designed costume manuever" myself.
If it was sewn properly it wouldn't need to be adjusted like that every single time the person stands up. |
