WOW! I wish I had that kind of talent, well done....amazing!
Was that done free hand or what? My bro-inlaw has done the original and refit using wire frame...complete with a 360 view, and it just blew my mind. It made mine look like Bantha poodoo. ![]() |

the only changes i would make is on the end of the warp engine nacelles i would put
NCC-1701 United Federation of Planets then i would move NCC-1701 from the bottom of deflector dish and move it to it's usual spot on the bottom of the saucer hull, and on the other side ENTERPRISE.

I would start all over.
There has to be a way to take the ugly out.

Remember, new parallel timeline means...
Potentially radically different future...as in possibly no refit, because this Enterprise could potentially be destroyed sometime during it's initial 5 year mission, and there will be no 1701-A or any of the other 1701-*s. For all we know, the next vessel to carry the name Enterprise may be NCC-2001. Also, as to the whole, every even that was out there is still out there, please consider the following. Starfleet lost one ship to the Narada and it radically altered the designs of starships for years to come. You don't think the Klingons are going to do the same thing after losing 47 ships? When and if V'ger shows up, the Klingons could potentionally have new types of vessels capable of blowing the entire cloudship to bits. I appreciate the fan art, but as far as knowing what the future holds, like the ad said, I've forgotten everything I knew.

I just had a thought.
If the Klingons DID capture the Narada after the destruction of the Kelvin, it means they now have Borg technology in their ships as well. The Klingons would've definitely studied the Narada well, not to mention if they had access to the ship's computer they could learn about other future tech as well. I don't think Old Spock can afford to keep the secrets to himself in this new universe, he has to give the Federation some ideas he knows about from the 24th century in order to shift or maintain a balance of power between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. |

Lovely designs. But if my calculations are correct this ship is actually a lot smaller than the movie version, which debatedly is about 2000 ft. I calculate this design being around 900 ft.
I could see the need for repairs after the encounter with the Narada, but I doubt a complete refit will be in the offering for the next movie. I do like the sleekness of the designs shown here. The movie Enterprise has too many unexplained bulges and bumps.
