I've watched the trailer a dozen times in HD, and I get the feeling that it's the same basic Enterprise from TOS, just with more detail. That's what New Voyages has done and - partially - TOS-Remastered. If that's all they do, I'm happy. But if it's something significantly different, e.g. they put wings on the engineering section, I know I'll be sitting in my seat with my arms crossed on opening night and an angry look on my face.

"Candy-striped" ?

I was told privately the nacelles would be guaranteed pink checkerboard.

Candy-striped, hey?

Definitely candy-striped. That's what my landlord told me. *nods*

Granted, we haven't seen a spectacularly detailed pic of it yet, but I'm happy so far!

Though the candy-stripes would make it that much better. And a pink, fur-covered captain's chair on the bridge.

I think it's basically going to stay extremely faithful on the outside at least as to the original model, proportions and size too. However I think the main concern is to what the interior will be like. We have already had the tiniest glimpses of a interior corridor, and from what it looks like they are having arches ala Motion Picture and TNG, structured in the corridors. However I think they are perhaps keeping in line with the yellow/red pipes and access panels from TOS sets; you can see thick horizontal pipes running along the walls, they could be colour codded with TOS. As for the shape and apparant cumbersome nature of this screen shot, at least for this part of the ship, I think they are traversing the gap between the NX Enterprise sets and TOS. More futuristic than Archer's ship but still not as spacious as TOS or TNG

May we have an option for "we haven't seen enough of it to judge yet?"

And as long as the secondary hull isn't propelled by Fred Flintstone's feet, I'll be happy.
You mean this?
