Post Memorial Day

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As I sit here beginning my day today I would like to remind everyone that today is Memorial Day, and while not all of you may celebrate this day in your own countries. Here in the US of A, we are marking the graves of our fallen heroes, and remembering their sacrifice for our country. Not everyone will agree on the reasons or causes of our wars and conflicts, but we should all be resolute in our dedication to the memory of those who died protecting what they believed in.

Thank you.

As an ex-soldier, I thank you.

As a citizen of this country, I thank those who have served, past and present for the freedoms we hold dear, and oft take for-granted.

As an ex-sergeant, hooray for people remembering!
And hooray that there's no more draft, so people aren't being forced to die in wars anymore!

Thank you to all you ex-soldiers on here and to all soldiers living or dead everywhere. We are forever in your debt.
