One listener said that it felt like the house was jumping up and down.
Revised down to 4.7. Felt all over Southern California. Edit: Now they're saying it's 5.0 again. Last edited by Star Trek Viewer : 05-17-2009 at 07:58 PM. |

I felt the strong '89 Earthquake in CA.
It was hard to stand up without holding onto a doorway frame. I could not believe how strong it was. Meanwhile, go get your Star Trek badge from Frosted Flakes as I did http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...viking/eng.jpg |

I was wrong - we had an earthquake too!
The U.S. Geological Survey and people in Albany County report an earthquake at 8:53:29 p.m. tonight. The epicenter was South Berne, according to USGS. USGS syas it was a 2.8 magnitude earthquake with a depth of 6.8 miles. One person from Clarksville tells CBS 6 News it was "very exciting, people were out in the street to see what had happened...It woke people up out of bed...Truly crazy and amazing."

I live in San Diego and didn't feel a thing. Earthquakes are overrated.

Can you really be afraid of living where Earthquakes are a common thing?
That is like living in a flood plane and then complaining when it floods. |
