Look, I appreciate that you guys have this "Romulan shoe fetish" thing going on here... but would you mind NOT sending me a private message about it? To me, it's not a really big deal.

Now, Uhura's nice, black, knee high leather flats, on the other hand.... LOL

Others got that mail too? Why am I not surprised?

Yeah, the shoes rock, perfect for a sunny afternoon in the park or garden work, jogging too. Or to your tuxedo? And they come as a bargain offer, just for a short period of time. Shoe inserts come seperatly.

The movie version jikatabi boots are cool, but I like the plain sleek black ones the best. I'm still hunting around.

Jikatabi boots are very comfortable and lots of construction workers in Japan wear them for the extra toe grip (while working on tall buildings).

I really like the Ayya tabi, the only problem is that they are very expensive ($175).

I tend not to spend more than $100 on footwear.

Like, what happens if you accidentally mess up the Ayya tabi (walk in a puddle, etc)

Btw, any pictures of the soles? I know the soles are rubber, but I want to see how rugged they are.

Tabi are the standerd boots worn by Japanese construction workers. The Split toe allows for extreme agility and movement on the scaffolding frame of buildings being built or repaired.
