I saw that too. I thought it was done on purpose.

I also noticed that Chris Pine seemed to have had chicken pocks as a kid and did not fair well with them. You can see in some scenes where he had scratched at them and they left scares all over his neck and parts of his face.

I read somewhere that Chris Pine has real bad acne scars and often covers ( spackles ) them up for movies.

As far as Quinto having a shadow, that was pretty-much normal for Heroes. Man. I'd hate to be dark-haired like him. I would HATE to have to shave daily. I can get away with shaving about every three days.
