Default What must you see in "Star Trek XI"?

What can you not wait to see take place in this film? What event will thrill you the most when it happens? I can't wait to see:
1. The completed Enterprise in spacedock.
2. The first time the Enterprise fires her main phaser banks.
3. The first time McCoy calls Spock a "Green blooded inhuman sonofab***h!" or a reasonable facsimile thereof.
4. Scotty's first mention of Scotch. (I LOVE Scotch!)
And last, but not least......
5. The first vulcan nerve pinch.

If none of these things but the first one happens, i'll still be o.k. But i hope at least a couple of them do.

What I really must see is Scotty. That is my priority. Scotty. Not seen enough of him so far. I want to see a lot of him. I hope Simon Pegg is fit, I'm a demanding fan and I live with the Scottish so I hope his Scots is acceptable. Doesn't have to authentic. As long as his burr sounds as lovely as Doohan's... I'd be happy! *sigh*

I would like to see subtle things that take the trek universe out of a two dimensional one and ground it more in reality.
For example do the romulans really only have one alchoholic beverage? Imagine if the characters refered to earth beer, the immediate thought would be which one.
Or the klingons. If honor is such a huge part of their culture then they would have many words for it or ways of saying it without having to repeat the word like a broken record.
The details that make it feel real. I hope that is what i see in this movie.

1. A cast that portrays the original cast to their best of abilities.
2. A story that is nothing short of brilliant, since everyone has said "wow what a great script, we will just have to see if it really is".
3. The best of the best visual effects that Star Trek deserves (no cheap recycling footage).
4. To see if the Klingons are the new (long hair) or old (just maustaches) look.
5. Brilliant action sequences!
6. A great movie expearience with comedy in the right places and a movie which stands out from the crowd as the best.

A servicable script is what I'd like to see first and foremost!

but otherwise just re-read checkov1701's list!
