China's Space Program logo is an ST ripoff

I have read somewhere that what is considered a cheap rip off in most western cultures is considered devout learning from a master in many asian cultures. Its said thats why asian cultures do not see anything wrong in copying or plagiarism. So, does the chinese comunist party have devout trekies? It certainly appears so.

More likely a ripoff of the UN Logo, which is what the Federation logo is.
The UN Logo has been around since 1945.
