You're talking about the episode where Apollo has to rewire the Centurian to get off the planet, right? Original series!

Not sure about Apollo , but I know star buck (The male version) re-wires a cylon, and names him Cy. Craziness ensues.

Yeah, I remember that one. I've seen only a handful of the original episodes, I wish they'd play them on tv more often. There was an episode in the new series where starbuck crashes on this planet and has to learn to fly a Cylon Raider to get off the planet, kinda harkened back to that episode.
What I remember about the original series was great model work, the Galactica looked huge, even bigger than it looks in the new series I think. Lots of Starwars influence in the original Galactica I'd imagine. Your avatar is a character from the original series isn't it?

Why, yes it is Livingston, Lucifer I do believe. I recently watched the episode you mentioned, where Starbuck crashes and re-wires the cylon ship.It was great homage to prior times. In all honesty I never completed the full run of the new series( Or as far as it is up to now), but I grabbed that episode on the fly. The Original starbuck crash is damn cool too. Poor Starbuck, His fate undetermined, issolated on that damn planet. I wish him the best. lol!

I watched the very first episode of the old Battlestar Galactica last night and really enjoyed it. I hope to see the next two later and then that will be it as that is as far as NBC has gotten with their classic vintage. I hope they add more.

NBC? They hold the rights to the old series now, since NBC/Universal makes the new series?

I bought the first season (new series) because it was discounted and wanted something to watch. It very very very quickly captivated me and sucked me in, bought seasons 2 & 3. Cant wait for season 4 !

Yeah, that's how it was for me. They played I think something like 4 or 5 episodes back to back with the miniseries and I couldn't stop watching. It really pulls you in from the get-go!
