Raiders: One of the best movies ever made.
Temple: Silly, and way too many kids, but had some good action sequences.
Last Crusade: A solid, fitting end to the Trilogy.
Crystal Skull: A mistake.

Crystal Skull was a good idea (slapstick aside) but it should have been much more vague about the aliens... among other things. They really could have picked a great actor to play the Russian villain instead of a Natasha clone.

Make the nature of the aliens more mysterious. Hinting at them would have been better while not identifying them. Do NOT have a flying saucer.
Natasha? Of Boris and Natasha?
Blanchett is quite good but I'm not sure she could play it evil enough.

I like how negative the reaction was to the aliens in the last film. I mean, people could accept the Angel of Death coming out of the Ark, Black Magic, and eternal life in the Holy Grail, but aliens goes to far.

Too far? No. Too hokey? Yes. It just didnt fit into the realm of the Indiana Jones stories. I mean... if you are going to have aliens why not also have them come from the future?

I really don't know...

I just remember falling asleep during the first two movies in the theatre.

I woke up with my sister and dad pouring popcorn over me.

they came from another dimension.
it all fits in perfectly well in Indy's world and they were paying homage to "hokey" '50's sci-fi.
