Angels & Demons knocked Star Trek out of the top place this weekend. That kinda surprised me. This DVC sequel/prequel hasn't been getting all that much buzz compared to other films coming out this summer. Anyway, Star Trek has grossed something like 147 million so far so they're saying it's a 'hit with legs' according to an article on scifi.com.

I heard of this movie thanks for warning me i wanted to see it but I like Star trek much better I am glad i used my money for it

I went to see A&D to placate my wife.
Meh, it was ok. I should have tried harder to talk her into seeing ST.

Star Trek is way better even if i did see angles and demons i more then likely would still like star trek better

i heard somewhere the a&d does better than trek in europe,100 milliion in 3 days?....for this....shall we say... movie?....are u kidding me?....i spent 3 agonizing hours watching this thing cause my sweet fiance had red the book...luckily i watched trek 2 more times to come to my senses.these 100 million should be given to the poor begging outside the churches,now if u ll excuse me when i heard the overseas gross of a&d i ve aquired a tendency to throw up

I think I've read all the Dan Brown books. IMO: good summer reads. The kind of books that drag you along and you don't have to think. Didn't see the da Vinci Code and won't see angels and demons. Can't see how they could cram one of those books into a 3 hour movie anyway...
