Angels & Demons knocked Star Trek out of the top place this weekend. That kinda surprised me. This DVC sequel/prequel hasn't been getting all that much buzz compared to other films coming out this summer. Anyway, Star Trek has grossed something like 147 million so far so they're saying it's a 'hit with legs' according to an article on scifi.com.

OH MY SCIENCE!

Yeah that was a good one. Who knew Otters could become such a formidable foe?

I went to see A&D to placate my wife.
Meh, it was ok. I should have tried harder to talk her into seeing ST.

I'll likely catch it this weekend - hopefully alongside Star Trek viewing 3.

Sorry, but it's true - $104 million estimated international gross.

I think I've read all the Dan Brown books. IMO: good summer reads. The kind of books that drag you along and you don't have to think. Didn't see the da Vinci Code and won't see angels and demons. Can't see how they could cram one of those books into a 3 hour movie anyway...
