This will be tough, I like Smart a lot, but to re-create those characters is s task.
I hope it is done well.

I just can't see anyone, and I mean ANYONE, replacing Don Adams in the role of Maxwell Smart.

But then, I couldn't see anyone replacing William Shatner as Kirk...So you never know.

I'm hoping you mean George Bush assuming the role of Don Adams.

Yet another sign that Hollywood is creatively bankrupt... or that the viewing public is that stupid. I'm getting tired of remakes, re-imaginings, reboots, etc.

Agreed. Carell is a wonderful Actor, and his bit part in BEWITCHED was the only highlight

Don't know, i'm a member of the viewing public, a totally cool guy and a genius

As such i shall share some enlightenment to ease your pain.

As you are tired of remakes don't go and see it ,or any other for that matter That'll be $60, i can bulk bill.

Truth be told i would agree with the cheap treadmill where the films are done as a once off but this production looks to be taken very seriously and as such should and will be judged on it's own merits and so far looks hilarious.
