Personally I love the original three, not so crazy about the prequels but they do have their moments. I haven't read many of the novels or looked into the expanded universe but yeah, Star Wars certainly has one of the most 'epic' universes in scifi. Lord of the Rings universe and Starwars, though different genres, I'd say are equally expansive and established mythologies.

I actually like the Clone Wars cartoon a lot more than I thought I would. It's childish and silly, but it's pretty well done for the most part.

Yeah, I like that show quite a bit. Been watching the new season. From the previews, looks like it's going to get darker. On going war, no ending in sight. Some of the storylines they've developed are pretty interesting.

They are developing a live action series, set in the timeframe between the two trilogies.

Definitely, and they're making one for release next year I believe. It takes place between the two trilogies and deals with minor characters on the outer rim. I think Boba Fett is to be a pretty prominent character.

Anyone who thinks that if he himself posts nonsense, as we sure all like to do from time to time, it is OK, yet if someone else does, it is not.
Seriously, we have had worse people here than starwarscks who just seems to be a bit overexcited, so I don't understand all the ado, especially as half of the stuff here is nonsense anyway, so it hardly matters whether we have a bit more or less.

I keep hearing, dark and gritty, somewhat like the new Battlestar Galactica, if you haven't seen that show, it's a must! Great show BSG is.
