Wow I just looked at cost of tickets for my local theather and now I know why IM picky about what movies I go to see.

Im in Missouri, and the tickets are 9.00 for the regular show and 7.25 for the matenae last time I went it was 7.50 for the reg ticket. Why are they so high and then charge me a ton of money for the popcorn inside and if they have the gall to show me TV commercials like the last time I went Im going to be pissed off.

$17.50 for 2 sodas and a popcorn... good thing they never search my pocketbook, or they'd discover the Swedish Fish Farm!

LOL!! These are WAYYY Overpriced. If it was lower, i guarentee more people would buy popcorn.

I am allergic to overpriced food and beverages, especially if it costs more than the ticket, so I always bring my own stuff.

I love the part about the free refills on the soda - if I drank 100 oz of soda in 2 hours, how much of the movie would I end up missing, between refilling and peeing??????

I agree the free refill thing is a joke unless you go in in a hour or two before to get the first round and then get the refill right before the movie.

Cost of seeing a 7PM showing: $4.50
Cost of seeing an IMAX showing: $13.50
Cost of a Jack and Coke slushie (large) $7.50
Going back again to see Star Trek justified by audience approval, laughing in all the right places, and enthusiastic applause at the end credits: Priceless!
