I think we should hand out commendations based on the number of theater visits.

That's worthy of an Olympic gold medal right there! Or maybe I'll just promote you straight from cadet to Captain.

I'm going again tomorrow night (number 3!), then twice more this weekend. I hope to get at least one or two more viewings in at some point after that.

In my case, I'm not really sure I can refute that.

Tis called dedication to the thing we love. In this case my love for trek. Once it's off the big screen it never goes back.

That probably costs a good chunk of change. More than a 7.1 surround sound system, a PS3 and a 1080p TV combined even.
Whoops! I meant to say 1080p projector. Panasonic AE-3000U 1920x1080 LCD projector is what I've got my eye on to replace my current 480p DLP projector, I just won't be able to afford the $2500 street price tag until I get a bonus or a raise at work.

Yeah I suppose that can be the case... it's just seems to happen so many times that we end up in a theater full of loud teenagers or other nuisance people during other films. Plus movie tickets are just so blasted expensive, I usually prefer to just sit in the comfort of my home theater and watch my Netflix discs.

Cuz' I enjoy the heck out of this movie. I saw The Dark Knight 6 times in theaters, and I'm pretty sure this Star Trek movie is going to be around that figure as well.

Because the first 2 times I saw it in IMAX a few internal organs managed to survive.

I aim to rectify that.
