Interesting. That would be cool if they mentioned his name in the new movie, but I doubt it.

As to spocks name no one knows only the writers,nimoy,and gene roddenberry did -due to only 3 seasons they never ready told you -only you couldn,t pronoch it/As the show with the the plants <I CANT REMEMBER THE TITLE OF THAT ONE)

Vulcans do not use "last" names like humans, or more specifically, Anglo-Saxons do...

Spock's name, technically, is Spock, son of Sarek.

As Amanda said, the FAMILY name is unpronounceable.

To be completely formal, he would be Spock, son of Sarek of the family (whatever). If anything, Vulcan naming would be very similar to Klingon names and houses...
