Here is your TOS counter-point.

I have a Pontiac Sunfire which is just a spruced-up cobalt, so this is my counter-part.

TOS - Miranda class - http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/sc...-modified1.jpg

TNG - Nova class - http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/schematics/nova2.jpg

Yep.

This Danube runabout -- http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/schematics/danube.jpg

or this Oberth science vessel -- http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/schematics/oberth.jpg

The ill-fated USS Grissom from ST III.

I wonder what a Smart Fortwo would classify as?

Ah! Here we go. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/sc...er/workbee.jpg

Yeah, same here. Mine's an 04, but I'd have to say it's a Type 9 shuttle aka Voyager shuttlecraft. It's not cool enough to be a runabout.

The Sunfire is a spruced-up Chevy Cavalier. The spruced-up Cobalt is the Pontiac G5.

I have an 04 Chevy Impala which is a beast of a vehicle, but not SUV-sized yet. I'd go with an Ambassador-Class.

Yes. I knew the Cavalier and Sunfire were stable-mates but the G5 / Cobalt replaced those models, so the G5 / Cobalt is the closest thing now. The upgraded 2.4L Supercharged Cobalt is better than Cavalier / Sunfire but the lower 2.2L is similar.

1982 Mitsubishi Mirage (same year as my younger sister.)

Bright yellow. (the car, not the sister, that is.)

Don't know that I'd compare it to any kind of starship. It's more like one of those green shuttlepods off Red Dwarf.
