Default Do we see Kirk interact with his mother before going to Starfleet? (spoiler request)

Or do we just see her giving birth?

The character name for Kirk's mother IS Winona.

Winona Ryder played Amanda Grayson.

And for some reason, I couldn't get Cameron out of my head the whole time she was onscreen. Most annoying...

Yes we get to see her bake little jimmy Kirk his favortie...oatmeal cookies. Then she sends him off to star fleet. But ohhhh if she had only given him those space condoms and a mom to son heart to heart instead. Then we would never have to see kirk catch that curious case of Romulan blood worm rings thus crippling him for life and further throwing the timeline into complete and utter chaos.

It's tough being a single Momma.....even in the 23rd cent.
