Default How about the new.......? SPOILER

So, I loved the new "Warp" affect.....Thought that was awesome, kind of made me jump in my seat the first time..... what ya think?

I liked it. It was always going to be updated for a summer blockbuster and they did it well I think.

It changed from TOS to TMP and then again in WOK and stayed that way through TUC. In TNG in changed again so its not a problem with me. Maybe different peroid engines have different effects for some technical reason? Maybe the the directors just like new effects

LOVED IT!!!

makes a hell of lot more sence just having the engines priming then shooting forward

the in warp effect was also cool, love the blue tunnel style

I loved the sheer kineticism when the ships go to warp. They just sit there, their nacelles warm up, and BOOM. The blue tunnel is nice too, but it's the transition to warp that makes it for me.

i miss the flash of light at the end... for me I enjoy more the warp that TNG created. i like seeing the stars flying past outside a window, because to me, it makes great eye candy, but like I said at the beginning, I really do miss the flash of light at the end

It was great. You get a sense of how powerful the engines of these mighty Starships are.

BOOM ... and you're in Warp.
