Time is life, and I lost two hours of my life casually.
But I enjoyed my lost life.

Yea - amazing film editing - I felt as though I fell into a spatial anomoly created by Red Matter....

(not to be confused with Blue Matter... which creates Blue Meanies who are much worse than Romulans...)

I thought about this on the train ride home from the theatre - but the ending was brilliant. Kirk / Spock convinces the Narada to follow them at warp away from Earth, thereby neutralizing the threat on earth and triggering his insane revenge genes. They had the trap in place and sprung it on the Narada.

There was still an eventual "out" to this - as the Narada was getting blasted and injected into a black hole - was there a chance it would emerge from the BH at some point in the future or past to influence time lines again? Dunno - to be determined.
