I want to say that Chris Pine is brilliant as Kirk and he totally rocks in the captain's clothes

I love the new movie to death but HELL NO WAY. Pine while doing a good job didn't entirely sell Kirk to me. He has the Shatner swagger but he's missing the Shatner charm.

Also no Shatner Dropkick = FAIL.

Hey I loved Pine/Kirk and I'm a Shat fan who didn't really want to see him in the new film unless it was organic to the film but its going to be awhile before Shatner is usurped in my mind as the best.

but if it comes to charm and cocky-ness this kid gots more and way better acting tallent.

do you think William will be in the sequel I don't care if he doesn't look like how we remembered him back when he was in Star Trek but I think Chris Pine is much better as captain kirk
