In the next movie the Enterprise will be scrapped and mothballed and a "fleet" transporter pads will be constructed. At any point and time the federation can deliver an anti-matter bomb to ANY where in the Alpha and beta quadrants and all of it's enemies fold under the massive power!!! No more need for colony ships! Just beam to your new home!! I have a feeling this new technical feat will never be mentioned again!

I'm sorry to say that I was disappointed - I felt it was all style and very little substance. The opening scenes were excellent - and were really tense, right up till and including the bar scene but after that I felt it was too light-hearted, (Chekov ruined any tension everytime) and no real emotion toward Nero. -Kirk/Khan worked so well because you could feel the motivation for Khan's actions. And how many times did we have to see Kirk hanging by his fingertips or being strangled - I reckon there were three of each in three different situations. The beauty shots were too brief and the editing a bit too frenetic at times. The Enterprise bridge was claustrophobic and then we have the 'let's introduce a cute creature so kids will like it' scenes. Not nearly as bad as the worst Star Trek, but not worth the hype. Generally I preferred the reboot of Battlestar Gallactica and the fantastic early space battles in that. 6.5 out of 10. Favourite Trek movie - Wrath of Khan. Favourite Star Trek scene -Stealing the Enterprise (Search for Spock)

Just thought of something else that should not be in the next move, and that is run-on
sentences, And thinking somebody might be peeing in a bottle in the same theater I am in. What in Gods name does this post have to do with the movie other than the fact that you need depends Last edited by Tribble-eater : 05-11-2009 at 10:38 AM. |

It's like a country music song. Somebody get the spoons. I got the tub bass. Who's got the fiddle.

"He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt him, it was really quite hypnotic."
