I was trying to show that evidence "seemed" to indicate that even the man who destroyed Star Trek thinks another Movie will do better. I will not let it go. I will not stand by while 43 years of Trek history are erased by Revisionist. Voicing my concerns is how I will oppose this Trek revisionism.

I don't understand this hatred of the movie when you haven't even seen it yet! Hey, it's STAR TREK! back on top! I was concerned at first, but another died in the wool Trekkie, who is a very good friend told me Star Trek is about timelines and alt universes! Nimoy loved the movie, Gene Roddenberrys son Rod, loved the movie. 43 years of being a fan next year will be 44 years, nothing has changed! When the DVD comes out, I already have a spot for it to fit nicely beside Nemesis. IT'S STAR TREK!!!ENJOY!!! I don't get the HATE.

Well, that's just name-calling hate speech.

Abrams has been downplaying the new Trek movie. He didn't seem to show any enthusiasm at all on Jimmy Kimmel. Chris Pine was on Letterman last night and he not only showed zero enthusiasm for the movie, he actually "knocked on wood" when Letterman asked if Pine thought there would be a big opening night. And Abrams was on Colbert last night, he seemed more comfortable talking about X-Men when Colbert asked if he thought the Trek movie would be "box office death".

I saw it in Texas. I went down there to see Star Trek 2 and ended up wasting my time on Abramsprise

Excuse me if I don't feel sorry for you. You got to be there when Nimoy came out to greet the fans. You got to see a new Trek film. I am really ticked now...you should have gotten up and walked out and given your seat to some one that would have given their right arm to be there. Instead all you can do is gripe and throw it in the faces of other fans that you wasted an opportunity that another fan would have cherished. I truly think you like being that sadistic. You are not a fan at all.
