I'm still waiting for some dork to complain that the name "That New Car Smell" DESTROYS CANON because there are NO NEW CARS IN THE REEEEEEAAAAL STAR TREK...

I've only heard the 30 second clip, but New Car Smell is my current favorite on the track list. The significance behind it make it a really moving emotional piece.

Did anyone notice the quote from "Launch Day-December 1968" by David Kneupper? The quote comes at 2:40 in "That New Car Smell", and again at 3:26. Kneupper's score is used at the Kennedy Space Center for the Apollo mission tour. I thought it was clever to use the music from the Apollo launch for Enterprise's departure from space dock.
