Concerning the replicator and the holodeck: "Synthetic Scotch, synthetic commanders." As comfortable as it sounds at first, I wonder how quickly people would leave the holosuite and have a real date again or desperately search for some restaurant that prepares real food, like Sisko's in New Orleans.

The holodeck would be great for recreation, but eventually you would need a real woman to be happy with, or whatever gender person you wish! Having your way physically with any woman you wanted (holographic version) would get boring eventually.

You have a point.....don't want Barclay's Holodiction creeping up on you!

Well why not take the whole ship, since in many ways the ship is the computer.

If you keep the same hologirl running non stop for days she might become a real person. See the holographic Dr. on Voyager for reference.

P.S. I would love to have a phaser. Anyone gets on your nerves just desintigrate them.

I love the holodeck, I can live in a ****ty appartment which I won't even notice because I can make every place I want

Also, isn't it true that you can actually produce food in the holodeck which you can eat? Because I'm not sure to take a replicator or the holodeck...The food thing is important to make a choice

Then again, with a replicator I can have all the cothes, money, and stuff like that. It might be better for the real world. Instead of banging some AI chick in the holodeck..
