Quantum Mechanics does not allow matter entering a black hole to be destroyed.

This forms the scientific basis (in theory) of the dimensional time travel that Elder Spock and Nero encountered in Star Trek XI.

does that have something to do with law of conservation? Matter cannot be destroyed but only transferred to another form. Didn't watch the whole video, but interesting.
