I noticed that - IMDB isn't 100% reliable though. I'd believe it more if there had been an official announcement by the studios etc.

I'm getting really tired of superhero movies anyways.

Superman, Batman, Spiderman, X-men, Catwoman, Fantastic 4, Iron Man, The Punisher, Blade, Ghostrider, Hulk, Hellboy, The Crow, The Spirit, and now Green Lantern. I know there are more and this doesnt include TV or other upcoming possibiliites like Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Hornet, or any other comic book. The last superhero movie rental I liked was Hancock.

Pine really doesn't resemble Hal Jordan all that much. I would have chosen Brad Pitt for Hal, sans the moustache.

I agree, after Spiderman was a huge hit, studios thought that they could just pump these out and we would watch.

As it turns out, we want a quality superhero movie, not crap like Fantasic 4, Ghostrider, and all the other sub par movies.

Just for the record, I actually enjoyed "Ghost Rider" it had certain elements of socio-political commentary in it's story line, that made it interesting and redeemed it's sometimes poor dialogue and shoddy editing.

That rumour was denied by Chris himself just recently. Here's an article on the subject from Trekmovie.com:

http://trekmovie.com/2009/03/19/chri...ern-maybe-not/

Instead he would like to be in a remake of the A-Team and play the character of Murdock which was originally and ironically done by Dwight Schultz...

I though Fantastic 4 was worth seeing.

Punisher
Electra
Hulk
Hulk
Superman Returns
Ghostrider....were all trash.

FF was good. I personally liked the 2nd hulk a bit better than the first. But not the greatest. I was impressed with Iron Man.
