I'm intrigued for sure. Maybe this will wash the bad taste of the AvP movies out of everyones' mouthes.

The second one was a ton more enjoyable than the first and definitely tied into the two series whereas the first was kinda blah.

I'm not a fan of the AVP stuff, but certainly the first Predator flick was an excellent action film.

Hmmm. Well first you would have to somehow make the predators more badass. I'm not sure what else to do but I'm not a writer. Also, I doubt he would get Arnold back as an actor. He might have other political aspirations (except pres of course) which would appeal more than the movies. For me, doing a movie would be a step backwards as growth as a person. Although, if offered 20 million dollars who knows.

Anyways... as opposed to Star Trek the idea of a new predator movie doesnt hold any interest as a movie watcher. The range of possibilities is too limiting to allow for much exploration. Its always been more or less hunter against prey. I always like being surprised by new ideas however so maybe a gifted writer could come up with something.

Robert Rodriguez is pretty creative normally. He might be able to come up with a new spin.

I'm wondering if the original Predator was somehow inspired by the episode "Hunters Moon" Season 3 Episode 4 of Lost in Space.

In that episode we have and alien hunter name Megazor who hunts Prof Robinson. The alien has a weapon that fires a disc shaped bladed weapon, much like the Predator's multi-bladed throwing weapon.
