What I mean here is thus: After this film is out in the public, will Paramount demand that all Fan productions stop? (This includes the excelient USS Exeter fan series, and others like Phase 2) Will they not allow anyone to write any stories that are not based on Abramsprise? Will they demand all television stations not air any star trek that is not lined up to Abramsprise for X number of years? Will they demand Amazon, Barns and nobel etc stop selling star trek fictional manuels and stories not based on Abramsprise? Will they tell Blu Ray and DVD makers to stop transfering Star Trek episodes and movies to DVD/Blu Ray that are not based on Abramsprise?

Actually I am not. I plan on watching all the Fan productions because this is all that we will have left of the origional Star Trek Universe. I may had gone overboard but I was trying to think of all possiabilities.

Why would they? Half of the things you listed they make money off of and the other half don't cut into their profits, so why would they even really care?

Most likely no, but I really wish they would.
