At that point maybe JJ decided he didn't want people to think the movie was TOO actiony.
We're already getting complaints that the movie is too action oriented enough as it is. I think maybe it was a wise move to not include the battle in the movie. I personally would've loved to have seen it, but maybe if it was done it would have overwhelmed the movie. Kinda like how the Star Wars prequels were just overdone in the action department. |
