More importantly, where are the cockroaches? They survive everything and you can never get rid of them all.

Can they survive a phaser set on maximum?

A small group no. But when dealing with an infestation... well if they can survive nukes they can survive phasers. And they are pretty damn quick. By the time you aim alot of them are already gone. Resilient little buggers.

Hasn't anyone else seen the show, I think it was Voyager, that states that a Starship cleans itself? If not Voy, it had to be TNG.

Yeah, but I never quite bought that - I'd like to have seen it.

Up the long ladder, TNG, the women who comes on to Riker is cleaning the floor and Riker says it isn't nessessary as the ship "Cleans itself". That episode mentioned the fire suppressant system too as a forcefield that comes from the ceiling starving the fire of oxygen. That could also ask perhaps to clean the ship, with them dotted in all the quarters and corridors. |

I dont think that the ships have toilets or at least not like we have. I think they use a method of beaming the poo directly from you. In all the scenes that take place in the bathroom I have never seen anything that looks like it might work in that capacity.
I would imagine that when you have to go to the bathroom. You just walk up to com port and punch a few keys. You would feel a little tingling inside and then you dont have to go any more. Last edited by Datalore : 05-07-2009 at 07:17 AM. |
